Beginning Thursday July 26th, the CoStar system will begin enforcing the standard GPC policy of stronger password requirements for all user accounts. You will not have to take any action until you receive notice regarding your password expiration.

This change will impact log in for ALL CoStar user accounts.

When you receive the password expiration notification through CoStar, It will contain instructions for changing your CoStar password.. Your new password will need to follow the complex password requirements below.

New Password Requirements

Password must contain at least one of each of the following:

• Upper Case Letter
• Lower Case Letter
• Number
• Special Character (#,$,%,&, such as punctuation symbols etc.) 

Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length. You may not use your last 3 passwords and your password may not be your User ID.
